This wouldn’t be the first time other artists have called out Drake for “taking” from the culture without giving back, and now Toronto rapper Mo-G is adding his name to the list of people accusing Drake of being a “culture vulture.”
Mo-G took to Instagram to vent his frustrations towards the OVO crew, claiming Drizzy does nothing but steal to make Billboard hits but doesn’t pay up!
He also accused Drake of biting off his style, flow and lyrics; even asking the Halal Gang rapper if he could sample his voice for a track.
This is a tittle of a song on views👀. After I did this shit Oliver put me in the studio and He said they need new hooks new flows and bars and shit…I didn't wanna be on these niggaz album cuz I'm not a slave only slave of Allah not the fake ass "6god" 😭 it only gets deeper. Stay playing with me little forest hill creature. @iamakademiks @theshaderoominc @a1starslive @balleralert
Mo-G continued to throw shade at Drizzy’s camp by accusing Drake’s manager, Oliver El-Khatib, of being a “dweeb” and “snake nigga” that “stirs the pot.”
All of this hate/shade from Mo-G didn’t exist earlier this month when the rapper had nothing but praise for Drake and OVO, referring to Drake as his “brother” and crediting him with bringing Toronto to the fore front of Hip Hop here in the States.
Do you think something radical happened to change Mo-G’s mind Drake and OVO or do you think he’s just stirring the pot for attention?
