Rapper Shawty Lo killed in car crash in Atlanta.

In unfortunate news, Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo, was killed in a car crash that happened this Wednesday morning.

The rapper (Carlos Walker, 40) was on Cascade Road near I-285 in Atlanta when the accident happened, and was possibly the victim of a hit and run, according to reports. After Walker’s car was hit, he ran into a tree, causing his car to flip over and catch fire. Another car involved flipped over a guard rail and also caught fire. Lo was pronounced dead at the scene. His manager, confirmed the news to CBS news in Atlanta.

Police say Shawty Lo lost control of his 2016 Audi, struck a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn and catch fire. He was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene. Two women were also in the car with him and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Shawty Lo was known for his tracks like “Dey Know” and the reality show that almost got aired on Oxygen called, All My Babies Mamas, that centered around his 11 children and their mothers.

As of now, investigators are still looking for the car that fled the scene after the crash. Condolences to his families and the families of the other victims involved.
