Made In America Music Festival stays in Philly but expands out to the West Coast!

People were worried that the Made In America Music Festival would be leaving The City of Brotherly Love for The City of Angles, but it looks like festival will be held in both cities instead.

Which means it’s staying in Philly after all… as it should.

It was announced a while ago that the two day festival, which was started back in 2012 in Philadelphia, would move to LA, leaving Philly fans to wonder and argue about the festival’s place on the east coast.

Fortunately, that was only a rumor.

Hov himself made it clear during a press conference that the music festival would be held in both cities simultaneously, on August 3th and 31st (making it one of the first to do so).

The only difference so far between the east and west coast shows are the ticket prices, as Philly’s start around $99.50 for two day passes and LA’s start around $125.

In more Jay Z concert news, the rapper plans to join wife Beyonce on a joint tour this summer.

Because all of the money they made from the Mrs. Carter Show, Magna Carta Holy Grail, and joint stadium tour with Justin Timberlake, clearly wasn’t enough.

They plan to take over the summer of 2014 with some more tours as well.
