Justin Timberlake apologized to fans after he got dragged about his Jesse Williams tweet!

Well, Justin Timberlake tried it.

The pop star was watching the 2016 BET Awards and decided to post a tweet regarding Jesse Williams‘ inspiring acceptance speech for his Humanitarian award.

The singer immediately got dragged by all of Black Twitter for assuming that he was not a part of the problem regarding culture appropriation; a point Jesse Williams mentioned in his speech about Black culture and how others constantly steal from it for profit, etc.

After realizing his mistake (he had an opinion and shared it online, and got dragged for it) Timberlake tried to apologized for being misunderstood and possibly being “out of turn.”

People weren’t here that shit either apparently…
