Rapper 50 Cent recently headlined a music festival in St. Kitts & Nevis at Warner Park Stadium, and was arrested after the performance for using foul language.
Originally, the rapper was only scheduled to host the event, but when he arrived he was asked to also perform at the last minute and had to use the DJ that was there. Fiddy was told prior to the show that he couldn’t use any profanity during his set, a rule he ignored and paid the price for when he was done performing at the Caribbean festival.
According to a post from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Fiddy was handcuffed and taken to jail where he was charged with using indecent language in public and granted a $5,000 bail and ordered to appear in court Monday.
However “a source close to the rapper” said Fiddy isn’t really upset about the arrest and may even go back to the Caribbean island if they’re invited.
“We just want people to know we ain’t mad about this, we all had a good time… 50 enjoyed it so much he decided to stay longer and go to Nevis [on Monday], and we would come back and perform in St. Kitts again anytime they would like to have us back.”
