50 Cent pushes back his mixtape, “The Kanan Tape.”

Rapper 50 Cent promised his fans a new mixtape this year, and announced it would drop November 26th, on Thanksgiving. Well, Turkey Day has come and gone, and Fiddy has yet to deliver The Kanan Tape.

The G-Unit MC admitted in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid that he pushed back the mixtape until early December because he was distracted by other projects he was working on and wanted to make sure Kanan would be right before he dropped it.

“I had to press pause because I had so much going on at the same time with uh, with my… the same business but the other business. So much other stuff.”

Don’t be confused by the delay, 50 Cent made it clear during the interview that the mixtape is already done and is “just sitting there,” but the rapper wanted the visuals for the project to be right (he mentioned that he’s working with Chris Brown on that).

Fiddy also revealed that he’ll be releasing another mixtape right after Kanan drops, called Reloaded. Check out Fiddy’s entire interview with DJ Whoo Kid below.
